Mickey Rourke was given a formal warning by the UK Celebrity Big Brother production team for using “homophobic” language with fellow housemate JoJo Siwa. After asking her if she like “girls or boys,” Rourke told her that if he remains on the show “longer than four days, you won’t be gay anymore.” He also faced backlash for vowing to “vote the lesbian out real quick,” and told Siwa “I need a f-g,” before making clear that he was using the British slang term for cigarette. Rourke’s behavior resulted in a formal warning from Big Brother. He apologized, but has a history of using offensive language, as he was previously recorded using a homophobic slur in 2011.
